Hey there, you found my website!
My name is Carolyn, and I am a photographer from central Florida. I first began learning the basics of photography through a hand-me-down Canon AE-1 (which I still own by the way). I have since moved on to the realm of digital equipment, but I must admit that aside from a few high school darkroom classes, and what I have learned on my own, I really don’t have any formal training in the craft.
I do have a full time gig, working at one of Florida’s oldest attractions, a small park you may have heard of called Gatorland. Although most of my work week is spent keeping the office from descending into chaos, I do bring my camera into work from time to time.
Out in the real world, you can actually find my work in a few places, including Green Circle in Cocoa, FL, and the Lost River Trading Post in Wardensville, WV. Also, through the Art in Public Places Program sponsored by Osceola Arts, my work has been on display throughout Kissimmee.
In my hometown, I volunteer on the board of Kissimmee Main Street, and have spent time as an artist at Gallery One Artists in downtown Kissimmee. And if you check out the list below, you can see a few other organizations I have had the pleasure of working with. (Sun n’ Fun is a really cool one)
So thanks for stopping by and taking the time to check out my work! You rock! (P.S. Don’t forget to check out the Shop!)
